A Proof of Delivery, or POD, is evidence provided by courier services to provide assurance to customers and businesses that a delivery has been successfully completed. There are a few different ways to provide a Proof of Delivery, depending on the courier and their procedures, though it will either be a signature or a photo.
If "Authority to Leave" has been given, a delivery will be left at the address if there is a safe space to do so and a photo of the location may be provided. If you have not received a copy and have been unable to locate your delivery, please contact our team and they will be able to request a copy from the courier for you. Please note that not all couriers are able to provide a POD.
If a "Signature [is] Required", a delivery will not be made unless proof of ID has been sighted and the parcel is signed for. The process for unsuccessful deliveries are dependent upon shipping method selected; please see the specifics here: What types of delivery do you offer? What does it cost?
Please note that consignment do not always require person-to-person delivery. This means that anyone from the same business / address is allowed to sign for a delivery. We strongly suggest ensuring that all delivery details are correct.
