The first priority of our freight partners is to ensure the successful delivery of your hamper!
Once you have selected your shipping option at the checkout, you will be asked if a signature is required on delivery and if you give the authority to leave the parcel if no one is at the address:
- If you have requested a signature upon delivery, our courier partner will not leave the parcel on premises. Please note that HDS does not require a signature and will provide a photo as Proof of Delivery.
- Should you provide an Authority to Leave however, our courier partner will leave the delivery at the recipient's address, as long as there is a safe space to do so.
Depending upon your selected method of shipping, our courier partner may return your order to their depot and reattempt delivery the next scheduled day. Please note that Australia Post will only attempt delivery once before leaving a parcel at a local collection point. More information can be found here: What types of delivery do you offer?
Please note that when authority to leave has been given, The Hamper Emporium and our couriers cannot accept responsibility or liability on the rare occasion that a consignment is lost or stolen after our couriers have recorded the package as 'successfully delivered'.
